Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2016-2019 Lincoln MKC, 2016-2023 Explorer, 2019-2020 Fusion, 2019-2024 Ranger, 2020-2022 Lincoln Corsair, Escape, 2021-2024 Bronco, Bronco Sport, and 2022-2024 Maverick vehicles. The engine block heater may crack and develop a coolant leak, causing it to short circuit when the block heater is plugged in.

Remedy

Owners are advised not to plug in their block heater until the vehicle is remedied. Dealers will replace the block heater, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed October 24, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated February 2026. BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2019-2021 BMW 330i, 2019-2022 BMW Z4, 2020-2022 BMW 530i, X3, X4, Toyota Supra, 2021-2022 BMW 430i, 430i Convertible, and 2022 BMW 230i vehicles. The engine starter relay may corrode, causing the relay to overheat and short circuit.

Remedy

Owners are advised to park their vehicles outside and away from structures until the remedy is complete. Dealers will replace the engine starter, free of charge. Interim notification letters informing owners of the safety risk are scheduled to be mailed November 14, 2025. Owners will receive a second notice as remedy parts become available. Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling one Audi SQ7 vehicles. The fasteners securing the high pressure fuel pump may not be tightened properly, resulting in a fuel leak.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and tighten the screw connections and replace the high pressure fuel pump and fuel lines as necessary, free of charge. The one affected vehicle was repaired. Remedy

ATC will work with Maxxsonics to mail instructions and a USB with a software update. All speakers will be inspected and replaced as necessary. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Suzuki Motor USA, LLC (Suzuki) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Burgman 400 (AN400AM3-M5) scooters. The fuel supply hose assembly may contact the fuel vapor hose assembly, causing the fuel supply hose to become damaged and leak fuel.

Remedy

Owners are advised that if they must ride the scooter before the safety recall repair has been completed, they should check the scooter for fuel leakage and proper operation as outlined in the “Inspection before riding” checklist in the owner’s manual. Dealers will replace the fuel supply hose assembly and fuel vapor hose assembly with new parts, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 10, 2025.
