Suzuki Motor USA, LLC (Suzuki) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Burgman 400 (AN400AM3-M5) scooters. The fuel supply hose assembly may contact the fuel vapor hose assembly, causing the fuel supply hose to become damaged and leak fuel.

Remedy

Owners are advised that if they must ride the scooter before the safety recall repair has been completed, they should check the scooter for fuel leakage and proper operation as outlined in the “Inspection before riding” checklist in the owner’s manual. Dealers will replace the fuel supply hose assembly and fuel vapor hose assembly with new parts, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 10, 2025. Remedy

Dealers will install advanced diagnostic software as the final remedy, anticipated to be available in the second quarter of 2025. Volkswagen will monitor available online vehicle data and contact owners as necessary, to advise them not to charge the vehicle until the battery can be replaced. For vehicles in which online data is unavailable, owners are advised not to charge their batteries until the final remedy becomes available. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed January 24, 2025. A second notice will be sent once the final remedy is available. The installation of advanced diagnostic software may have failed. As such, the high voltage battery could catch fire when charged to full or nearly full capacity.

Remedy

Owners are advised to take the following interim steps: Set the Target Charge Level feature in their vehicle to limit the charge level to 90%, charge their vehicle more frequently, avoid depleting the battery to 70 miles range remaining, park outside after charging, and do not charge the vehicle indoors overnight. Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Taycan vehicles. The high-voltage battery may experience a short circuit within the battery module.

Remedy

Owners are advised to only charge their vehicles to a maximum of 80% battery capacity until the repair has been completed. Dealers will replace the affected modules in the high-voltage battery, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 29, 2024.
