Summary
Shyft Group is recalling certain 2022 Utilimaster Walk-In vans. The transmission shifter cable may contact the exhaust manifold, causing the outer coating to melt and damaging the cable.
Remedy
Shyft Group will reroute and secure the transmission shifter cable, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on October 28, 2022. Owners may contact Shyft Group’s customer service at 1-800-237-7806. Shyft Group’s number for this recall is 22-11.
