Daniel Harris, PE, is a Forensic Engineer with Haag, a Salas O’Brien Company. Based in Pensacola, Florida, He brings over 20 years of experience as a structural engineer, with a broad background in both forensic investigations and engineering design.
Mr. Harris specializes in forensic evaluations of residential, commercial, and industrial structures, including assessments of structural failures, roofing system performance, and general civil engineering issues. His design experience spans pre-cast and pre-stressed concrete structures, connection design, and compliance with wind and seismic code requirements. He also has expertise in the structural and mechanical design of saturation (SAT) diving systems and has managed complex engineering projects from concept to completion.
Mr. Harris is licensed Professional Engineer in five states. He earned Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Alabama. Mr. Harris is a National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying’s (NCEES) record council member.
