Haag Engineering is excited to welcome David Ey, P.E., new civil engineer, serving Haag’s clients in the Chicago metro area and Midwest states now.
“David Ey is a civil engineer with 12 years of experience including 6 years of forensic experience. He is based in Chicago and brings an excellent mix of the knowledge, experience and skills necessary to serve Haag’s clients,” said Justin Kestner, President/CEO.
David is an experienced civil engineer who performs structural evaluations. As a Forensic Engineer, he’s performed extensive roof and building envelope inspections. David has specialized expertise in cement and concrete materials and applications. His previous experience includes being the resident expert engineer related to stucco and concrete slabs, pavements, and structural members. David also performed façade inspections on several buildings in accordance with Chicago code requirements.
David holds Professional Engineering licenses in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Wisconsin, South Dakota and Texas. He earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering from George Mason University. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
