Paul R. Williams is a Forensic Engineer with Haag, a Salas O’Brien Company. Mr. Williams has more than 40 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, engineering design for the oil & gas industry, highway/road design, and fabrication drafting. He has extensive forensic experience in evaluating structural damage, storm damage, flooding and drainage, moisture ingress, and mechanical equipment. As a gas field Facilities Engineer, Mr. Williams oversaw reliability and resource utilization of surface equipment and gathering. His design experience includes He performed civil and mechanical engineering design and project management/oversight for oil refineries. He has designed and drafted plans for structural steel and reinforced concrete bridges.
Mr. Williams is a licensed professional engineer in 19 states and earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston, magna cum laude. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society, Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, and the American Concrete Institute. He was honored as the Texas Society of Professional Engineers’ Outstanding Civil Engineering Graduate in 1991.
