John D. Stewart, PE, is a Forensic Engineer Emeritus with Haag, a Salas O’Brien Company, based in Flower Mound, Texas. Mr. Stewart has more than 56 years of engineering experience. He served as President of Haag from 1982 to 2014. Mr. Stewart’s areas of expertise include scope of damage, electrical failures, lightning damage, fire investigations, and electronic and computer failures. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and Arizona. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the National Fire Protection Association, the National and Texas Society of Professional Engineers, and the International Association of Arson Investigators.
