Jim Roberto is a Principal Building and Technical Lead (Construction, Remediation, and Building Consultant) with Haag, a Salas O’Brien Company. Mr. Roberto brings more than 25 years of experience in construction, restoration, project management, and client advisory services. His expertise spans commercial, industrial, institutional, multifamily, and residential properties, with a strong focus on damage assessment, building reconstruction, cost evaluation, and litigation support. Throughout his career, Mr. Roberto has successfully managed complex restoration and construction projects, conducted extensive onsite inspections, and provided consultative guidance to property owners, insurers, contractors, and legal stakeholders. His hands-on knowledge as both a licensed General Contractor and former Senior Project Manager enables him to deliver practical, results-driven solutions while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.

Prior to joining Haag, Mr. Roberto served as Managing Partner, where he oversaw more than 200 construction projects valued at over $55 million and managed a portfolio of more than 300 real estate assets. He has worked with major clients including Walmart, Target, Home Depot, CitiBank, State Farm, Wells Fargo, Chase, HSBC, and HUD, leading project planning, contractor management, compliance oversight, and insurance-related repairs. In addition to his construction leadership, Mr. Roberto has an extensive background in sales and business development, having built high-performing organizations that grew revenue from $3 million to $47 million within three years. His combination of technical construction expertise, operational leadership, and client-focused consulting has earned him recognition for outstanding project execution and revenue achievement throughout his career.
