Chris Giffin, P.Eng., is the CEO of Haag Global’s Canadian subsidiary, Haag Canada. As the leader of Haag Canada, Mr. Giffin will be working to expand Haag's presence in Canada. Based in Toronto, Haag Canada's engineering services will include civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, materials, and construction delay analysis. Mr. Giffin, a Canadian industry leader in large loss forensic engineering, and Haag Global, the United States' oldest forensic engineering firm, combine to provide a trifecta of attributes--unbiased independence, depth of expertise, and breadth of expertise.
Chris Giffin founded a forensic engineering firm in Toronto, and served as CEO and owner until June 2018. Under Mr. Giffin’s leadership, his firm grew to be one of Canada's largest and most respected independent multi-disciplinary forensic engineering firms, focused almost exclusively on large loss files, with almost 100 employees.
Mr. Giffin decided to pursue his vision of a global firm, and teamed with Haag Global in 2020. He is a Professional Engineer, licensed in Ontario, with 32 years of experience. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, he began his career in 1988 as Consulting Forensic Engineer, eventually working his way up to President/CEO. In 2002, Mr. Giffin founded Giffin Koerth Forensic Engineering, which he grew into 30 Forensic Engineering.
