Summary
Storyteller Overland (
The wires connecting the secondary alternator to the auxiliary power system may be improperly routed, allowing them to contact the CV axle shaft and damage the wires.
Remedy
Dealers will reroute the wiring and add a heat shield. In addition, wires will be inspected for damage and replaced as necessary. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 21, 2022. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.
