Richard S. Gray, P.E., is a Forensic Engineer for Haag Engineering Co. Based in Sacramento, California, Mr. Gray has thirty-one years of continuous experience in civil and structural engineering, forensic construction investigation, geotechnical engineering, testing and inspection, surveying, and construction project management. He is licensed Professional Engineer in eight states. Mr. Gray has investigated a wide range of losses including fires, structural failures, roofing and structural framing construction defects, personal injury, hail related damage, and product failures. He has worked with large loss insurance clients, major utility suppliers, product manufacturers, and attorneys.
Mr. Gray has directed engineering projects of varying complexity, including for Federal Refuges, Air Force Bases, and various State agencies, using public works and privately funded sources. He obtained federal security clearance while directing several sensitive, high-profile projects for the Veterans Administration (V.A.) Hospital, Port Authority, Transportation Safety Administration (TSA), and National Security/Airport facilities.
