Nathan Marincic is a forensic and structural engineer with expertise in building-envelope investigations, structural assessments, renewable energy systems, and construction management. Currently serving as a Forensic Engineer with Haag, a Salas O’Brien Company, he conducts investigations of residential and commercial structures, evaluates damage causation, assesses structural integrity, and provides engineering analyses to support insurance, legal, and property-related claims. His background combines hands-on field experience with strong technical expertise in structural engineering, construction practices, and building performance.
Prior to joining Haag, Mr. Marincic held engineering and leadership positions within the renewable energy sector, where he analyzed timber-framed structures, developed repair recommendations, reviewed and stamped engineering plans. Earlier in his career, he managed commercial solar construction projects, secured grant funding, designed photovoltaic and energy storage systems, and developed monitoring solutions for clean energy assets.
Mr. Marincic successfully completed the PE Civil – Structural Exam and holds specialized certifications in rope access and solar energy systems. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado and earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan.
