Michael Driscoll is a Large Loss Specialist with Haag, a Salas O’Brien Company. He is a seasoned and credentialed fire investigator with almost four decades of diverse experience in leading major fire and explosion investigations, forensic engineering teams, and complex technical services organizations. Mr. Driscoll is recognized for his technical credibility, expert risk governance, NFPA aligned standards, and the ability to align operational rigor with commercial objectives.
Mr. Driscoll previously managed enterprise-wide technical governance, expert development, and complex-loss response while advising insurers and law firms on high-exposure claims. Mr. Driscoll led multidisciplinary engineering and investigative practices, established national standards and training programs, strengthened litigation defensibility, and expanded expert capabilities and geographic coverage. Earlier in his career, he directed regional and national fire and explosion operations, managing major-loss investigations and driving growth and performance. He served for 12 years in municipal fire investigation leadership roles, conducting origin-and-cause investigations and enforcing fire codes across a wide range of occupancies.
Mr. Driscoll is an International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) and a certified National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1033 Fire Investigator.
